These are the new generation of e-bikes, feeling much more like there non powered ancestors. These bikes however react a little differently and will not give the you the ease of support their heavier counterparts can. Lightweight ebike systems such as the Bosch SX motor, Mahle or Fazua rely on cadence (revolutions per minute of your legs). High cadences on these machines can match the power of there counterparts but you must be able to turn your legs over at a good speed. Slow cadences will not be rewarded with much power and can make these machines difficult for some riders. If you want to see how they work test rides are welcome.
