About Top Gear LTD Electric Bikes
Top Gear Ltd is a privately owned family business, and now specialises purely in sales and servicing electric bikes and selling a wide range of accessories.
Peter Williams formed the company in 1990 with his wife Amanda Rolleston.
The shop is now run by shop manager Chris Bonner, assisted by workshop specialist Joshua Jones and John Dukes.
In addition to bike sales, we have a cycle repair section and also carry an extensive range of cycle accessories, service parts and clothing.
We also have an electric bike rental fleet, allowing customers to explore the lovely Cornish countryside or try an electric bike for themselves before making a purchase.
Peter’s many years experience, customer service and professionalism make him a unique distributor within the electric bike market place and Amanda's vast retail experience make her a valuable asset to the business. Chris Bonner comes to us with over 10 years experience in the bike trade, and is assisited by bike enthusiasts Joshua Jones and John Dukes. Joshua also has many years experience within the bike trade and his technical expertise is invaluable.

We have been involved in the Electric Bike market for many years and have seen the transformation from the old heavy ugly bikes to the superb designs of the current models.
With an array of products on offer including electric step over bikes, step through models, mountain and trail bikes and folding electric bikes, Top Gear has been the first choice for many e-bike owners.
Based in Penryn, we service the local and South West market, including Falmouth, Truro, St Austell, Bodmin, St Agnes, Perranporth, Padstow, Newquay, Cambourne, Redruth, Helston, Hayle, St Ives, Penzance and beyond.
